Easy to find, excellent location, friendly staff, clean and comfotable rooms, good view to Tiberian Sea (Kinneret), big municipal parking (payable)
Few free parking lots at the hotel, small pool
View from window. The rest of are very bad!
Hotel needs changes from up till down. We ask staff triple(!) to bring a bed kit to our child. Very bad staff works in breakfast time! They shout (!) on me to change chosen free (!) table - 6 pers - to another 6 pers table but not comfortable. They did not even explain why!!! Strongly recommend to avoid this hotel!
The location was excellent. Breakfast was fine.
The hotel was in need of a remodel -- it looked very 1970. But more importantly, the staff was downright unfriendly. While waiting on me, they interrupted service to wait on other people. They were unhelpful in addressing requests as well (bus schedule, directions). The staff seemed like we were imposing on them by paying $300 a night to stay there. The staff seemed more helpful to Israelis and to religious people. I did not observe any other Americans there. I would never stay there again, and would not recommend the hotel to others either.
The location of the Caesar is tough to beat--right there on the promenade and the lake. It also provides easy access to 90 (either to the Hula Valley/Golan Heights or toward Jerusalem/Jericho).
The "free parking" is questionable. The free lot fills quickly, and the overflow lot is public (pay on weekdays) parking, which also fills quickly. I went on a weekend and had trouble finding a spot near the hotel. I asked for a room with a lake view, which shouldn't be tough because 99% of the rooms have one. However, my room did not. I was given one of the very few rooms with a balcony view obstructed by the service rooms' tower. The breakfast food is worse than average.
The location was excellent, right on the Tayelet near the Kineret. The two (2) pools [mineral water and outdoor] were great. There was a nice large gym/exercise facility and spa for massages as well. The lobby was large and comfortable. The breakfasts were also very good and ample. The price was reasonable.
I need to check my emails regularly and the wireless internet service was very sporadic although the staff was cooperative and reset the system each time we called to complain. There is no concierge or travel desk to assist tourists on the premises. The front desk “guessed” when giving directions and gave us incorrect directions as opposed to saying that they did not know. The rooms could use some updating although they were ample in size.
The location was great. The staff was helpful.
The parking wasn't free. You have to put money in the meter unless it's sabbath. The noisy from the pool and nearby bar was inconvenient. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
Unhelpful staff. Noisy rooms. Slow lift service. Wi-fi in room sporadic.
Location in town.
Comments regarding the condition of the rooms is correct. The whole place is in need of serious renovations. The furniture is old and scratched with the door to the fridge sagging badly. The carpets are old. Having said that - the towels, sheets and bathroom were clean and thats more important to me. It said free parking on site. That was closed with a sign saying 'full', but it was not, and anther sign saying parking is in the car park with a reduced fee ticket available from reception. That is not 'free'! Having eaten breakfast in 8 Hotels in Israel this year; this hotels' was OK. US$188 for a double room here is too high.
the location on the boardwalk
snotty staff, crummy and dirty room, nasty food
Parking for free. Good location, view on the lake. Good swimming pool (closing time 17 u)
